We have many customers asking if the ladder can unfold through a doorway. Usually it will not unless the doorway is very
tall or far from the opening. Use the table below to determine if you have enough space. For the swing clearance, measure
forward from the back (the side where stairs will be hinged) of the ceiling opening. Measurement(R) shown on diagram below.
Then measure distance from the ceiling.
All models, regardless of number of steps.
